Queensland Health goes live with Infonetica's RED

On 3rd November 2008, Queensland Health went live with Infonetica''s AU RED for the management and administration of all research proposals within the Queensland public health system.
In 2009, Queensland Health will introduce its mutual acceptance model for multi-centre ethical review which aims to reduce the duplication of reviews and further streamline the ethical review process.
AU RED is now being used by 15 Human Research Ethics Committees (HRECs) throughout the Queensland public health system.
