New South Wales Health goes live with AU RED to support Australia''s first state-wide single ethical review system for multi-centre research.
On the 1st July 2007, Infonetica launched AU RED within the New South Wales public health system to support NSW Health''s new state-wide system for single ethical review of multi-centre research (click here for more information). This new system is the first of its kind in Australia and aims to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and timeliness of multi-centre research reviews by allowing for multi-centre research studies to be ethically and scientifically reviewed once only by a lead Human Research Ethics Committee.
Since the introduction of NSW Health''s single ethical review system on the 1st July 2007, AU RED is now being used by 23 Human Research Ethics Committees throughout the New South Wales public health system.
